CRHS Principal
I have been proudly associated with Cape Recife High School since 1989, and over the years this school has become very much a part of who I am. I am a teacher at heart, with a deep and enduring passion for supporting learners with barriers to learning and ensuring that every child is given the opportunity to succeed in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
In 2022, I was honoured to be appointed Principal of Cape Recife High School. Prior to this role, I served as Deputy Principal, where I was responsible for the day-to-day management of the High School as well as learner discipline across all phases, from Grade R to Grade 12. These roles allowed me to gain a comprehensive understanding of the school, its learners, and the importance of consistency, structure, and care in supporting both academic and personal growth.
My vision for Cape Recife is that every learner reaches their full potential – academically, socially and emotionally. I strongly believe in a holistic approach to education, where learners are supported not only in the classroom but through collaboration between teachers, therapists, class assistants and support staff.
I am extremely fortunate to serve as Principal of this exceptional school and to work alongside a dynamic and dedicated team that includes teachers, therapists, class assistants, administrative staff, and non-teaching staff. Together, we are committed to creating a safe, supportive and empowering environment where every learner is valued, respected and encouraged to thrive.
